Taking A Break

I'm going to take a break for awhile from blogging. I really wanted to finish my 44 Days of Witchery but oh well; I'll pick it back up when I hit the blogsphere again. There is so much I want to do and I am losing focus and not doing it which is really very bad of me. After all I can’t realize my dreams if I don’t actually make them happen in some form or another. I spend far too much time in front of the computer and don’t actually do anything else all day. So for the short term my focus needs to shift to other areas of my life so that I can get myself back on track again. Losing Conan was hard and it derailed me for some time and now I need to try to find my way back to where I was before we found out how ill he was.

It’s hard working up the enthusiasm but I feel as though I am getting there slowly, I’m working new ideas and trying to make the old ideas new again, trying to shape them into a form that works for me. I want my life to begin again so here I go doing what I can to get where I need to be.

Short Term Goals

Finish Tafe Work by extension date (sooo behind)
Finish L3 of Past Life Therapy
Do next set of lessons for Herbalism
Start making new products for Cauldron of Nephthys
Start seriously studying Tarot and Oracle more in depth
Continue working with my Witch Cards
Make up Rosemary and Lavender smudge sticks (I dried the herbs and that was it)

Long Term Goals

Finish Diploma of Herbalism by end of year
Be a fully functioning handcrafted product making machine
Begin growing herbs for future harvest
Create witchy garden
Write lessons for proposed witchcraft school

Ok so the long term goals are not far reaching beyond probably the next twelve months but it works for me, I tend to overdo everything and before long I will have a thousand different things in the works and get carried away. Slow steps for now I think, better to be steady than flat out.

So anyways, I may write about these adventures and post them later but for now I think that I am going to let the cottage rest and come back to it a bit later. Maybe by spring, that would be nice.

Day 27 Picture of nature (earth element)

Since I do like to be different, I chose a photo I took of the potatoes we grew. They're not a lot or plentiful but potatoes are very earthy veg!

Tatos from the garden!

Day 26: A witchy podcast

I chose HedgeFolk Tales Flying Ointments. I’m a fan of Sarah’s, I enjoy her blog The Witch of Forest Grove so I thought she’s the perfect choice for day 26!!

I very much enjoyed her podcast, the part that made me giggle was when she pointed out that herbs from the Solanaceae family can be found where witches are – if you read my post from the other day, you will see that I discovered Black Nightshade outside of my home. I didn’t get to listen to all of it as my computer decided to have a hernia and lock up but I will listen to the rest later because I was liking it.
