Although the heat was almost too much to bare, the garden survived the onslaught with barely any casualties. Owing to the lushly overdramatic rain day we had in February, the skies giving us an incredible 60+ millimeters of rain, everything has sprung with new vigour. Flowers are blooming, the chillies are producing an overabundance, the valerian and burdock are so gorgeously green. The bulbs are beginning to stretch their faces toward the sun and greet the autumn.
The season of the witch has begun.
